WP2 focuses on learning from both the successes and failures of energy transition projects in disadvantaged neighborhoods within urban regeneration.
The work aims to explore the risks of inequity and the positive outcomes associated with these projects, along with the factors driving them.
The analysis will be conducted in three partner countries through two main steps:
selecting 8-9 implementation project cases across different types of disadvantaged neighborhoods
identifying positive and negative impacts, with a focus on equity issues using the Capability Approach framework. This will involve interviews with key stakeholders.
Key deliverables include a list of selected project cases and their features, as well as a report on the successes, failures, and drivers of energy transition projects in these areas. The main milestone will be the identification of the pilot cases for study.
