Co-creating tailored PED strategies through living labs

WP4 focuses on co-creating tailored strategies for PED-oriented urban regeneration in three disadvantaged neighborhoods (one in each partner city: Bari, Wroclaw, and Aalborg) through Living Labs (LL).

Tasks

  • T4.1 Three pilot cases will be identified in disadvantaged neighbourhoods in the cities of Bari, Wroclaw and Aalborg
  • T4.2 Living Labs (LL) will be established in the three pilot cases, by identifying the arenas of stakeholders, assembling, mediating, aligning, and including diverse forms of local, legal, and technical knowledge for PEDs. LL will align and capitalize on cocreation strategies potentially already activated in the local context (e.g. urban regeneration, PED projects) integrating PED-oriented transition dynamics
  • T4.3 For each pilot case, a comprehensive energy-potential analysis will be developed, including reduction of energy demand, energy efficiency measures, energy generation potentials
  • T4.4 Tailored strategies for PED-oriented urban regeneration of the pilot cases will be co-constructed within LL, with inputs from the preliminary screening of key actions for just transition suggested by the MVA model

Deliverables

  • D4.1 Report on the energy-potential profile of the pilot cases (based on comprehensive energy-potential analysis, including reduction of energy demand, energy efficiency measures, energy generation potentials)
  • D4.2 Report on the co-creation of tailored strategies for PED-oriented urban regeneration in pilot disadvantaged neighbourhoods

Milestones

  • M4.1 Identification of pilot cases
  • M4.2 Living labs set-up in each pilot case
  • M4.3 Tailored strategies for just PED transition co-constructed in each living lab
  • M4.4 Energy potential analysis done
